The race will be clockwise around CGI (island stays to starboard), honoring all red day marks (leaving them to starboard), and finishing at a line extended from and in line with the end of the East/west guardrail in the parking area at the South-East end of CGI (Corner of Credit Union Parking Lot). Order of start is order of finish from last week’s Skipper Whipper.
Participants and observers are welcome to observe the races from both the CGI causeway and the publicly accessible shoreline of the Base’s east end. Pedestrians must stay clear of road traffic and abide by safety and security directions from posted signs on CGI property and from Base Alameda security personnel. Please note that Federal jurisdiction starts at the Oakland side of the bridge to the island, even for spaces outside of the gate.
